Patients are conveniently offered “one-stop-shop” treatment at Witkoppen Health and Welfare Centre to evaluate their condition. Initially a Primary Healthcare Nurse (PHCN) conducts an examination, but if any assistance is needed, the patient is referred to a doctor on site for a second opinion immediately.
A range of testing options is available on the premises including special laboratory investigations and ultrasound. If X-Rays are required, an arrangement is in place with Drs Bloch and Partners, radiologists at Sandton Clinic, where they are done at a nominal cost.
Medicines are available from the pharmacy, if required, but sometimes the remedy calls for lifestyle modification in order to reduce the patient's risk profile.
