Witkoppen Clinic has a Grade A pharmacy on-site staffed by full-time pharmacists, and pharmacist assistants. 

The pharmacy stocks the drugs listed on the Department of Health’s essential drugs list, including antiretroviral treatment (ART). It assists with the centralised chronic medicines dispensing and distribution (CCMDD) and pharmacy dispensing units (PDU) so that patients can collect their prescribed medications in locations convenient to them. 

Patients are not charged for medication received from Witkoppen Clinic’s pharmacy.

All our pharmacists are registered with the Pharmacy Council as tutors. They provide on-site training and mentoring to pharmacist assistants.
